MBA Business Software Names Smiran Lilani as Systems Specialist
Sage Certified Consultant brought on board to take MBA’s client relations to the next level

Atlanta, GA- July 26, 2012- MBA Business Software, a reseller and Master Developer for Sage 100 ERP, has named Smiran Lilani as its new Systems Specialist.

Lilani, a former graduate of University of Alabama, studied Accounting and Management of Technology at UAH. Lilani brings valuable experience to the MBA team from her previous position as an Accounting Systems Specialist with a local financial consulting firm.

Lilani will be consulting MBA’s Sage 100 Advanced projects as a Sage Certified Consultant. “I am proud to add Smiran to the MBA Family,” says Todd Martin President of MBA. “With her skills she will bring even more value to our customers and make for an even better implementation experience.”

In her new role, Smiran will be responsible for customer implementations of Sage 100. She will also be involved with the system analysis and design for Development, operational consulting to MBA’s customers, and supporting staff with product support and training.

MBA Recognized as Fox Business' Small Business of the Day

Phil Martin talks about MBA Business Software coming of age

Atlanta, GA- Feb. 9, 2012- FOX Small Business Network recently recognized MBA Business Software as their Small Business of the Day.

The FOX Small Business Center uses Twitter to recognize various small businesses by communicating with their customers. The Small business center's twitter name is @fbsmallbiz, and they use the hashtag #mysbc to uniquely define their trending topic.

Each business recognized is asked to highlight the history and establishment of the company. Phil Martin, MBA's founder, spoke on behalf of MBA @mbabsi. Phil elaborated on the history of the accounting process for businesses, and how it has evolved over the years with the development of technology.

Phil states that the company was founded in 1981 by him applying his knowledge of accounting systems into smaller computers ultimately creating MBA Business Software. Phil also says that the biggest lesson learned from a customer was about respecting the customer's needs and gaining their trust.

Georgia State University graduate expected to make her mark on MBA

Atlanta, GA- Sept. 29, 2011- MBA Business Software, a reseller and Master Developer for Sage ERP MAS 90 and Sage ERP MAS 200, has named Heidi Blankenship as its new Marketing and Office Administrative Assistant.

Blankenship, a 2011 graduate of Georgia State University, will be bringing in new business as well as strengthening the image of MBA Business Software. “I am excited to have Heidi join the MBA family,” says Todd Martin President of MBA. “Heidi brings a fresh look at marketing, utilizing social media to celebrate MBA’s 30 years.”

Blankenship studied Public Relations and Marketing at GSU. She brings valuable experience from a lead role at a local marketing firm as well as a number of accredited internships within the field. In her new role, Blankenship will be completing sales-related and marketing administrative projects, assisting in writing and editing marketing materials as well as enhancing MBA’s social media presence.
