Job Description
Job Title: Software Integrator/Level 1 Support
Reports to: Director of Technical Services
Manages: None
Travel: Local, occasional Southeast U.S.
Salary: $28-45K
Required Experience or Skills:
- Prior accounting/bookkeeping education or experience.
- Working knowledge of computer networks, hardware and operating systems.
- Above average communication skills.
Desired Experience or Skills:
- Prior experience with Sage MAS ERP.
- Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, FRx.
Responsibilities:
- Help desk support for Sage MAS ERP.
- Answer client questions concerning operation of Sage MAS ERP Software.
- Resolve errors and problems using Sage's on-line and internal resources.
- Refer and follow-up on questions or problems requiring additional support.
- Maintain client history and internal support knowledge base.
- Sage MAS ERP support at client site.
- Install new or upgrades to software.
- Troubleshoot installation problems.
- Integrate software with Microsoft Office and other compatible software.
- Client Services
- Create reports for clients using Crystal Reports, FRx, and other application tools or utilities.
- Perform or assist with enhancements using application tools or utilities to add or modify database fields, display and entry screens, custom reports and inquiries.
- Convert client data from spreadsheets or exports from other applications to Sage MAS ERP Software.
- Quality control and distribution of client software modifications.
- Assist with maintenance of client archives.
- Test client modifications and review associated documentation.
- Coordinate software error and documentation correction with development staff.
- Create distribution CD for client modifications.
- Perform modification installation assistance and follow-up.
