Prior to Sage, MBA started to work with State of the Art in 1987 with what was then called MAS90 and is now called Sage 100 Cloud. Sage 100 has built in the functionality of storing all credit cards in what they call the Sage Payment Solutions Vault Storage. Vault Storage is created automatically and you do not have to be a customer of Sage Payment Solutions to be able to store your credit card numbers. This allows customer who wish to manually process credit cards to be able to look up a customers credit card and enter it in another processor manually.
This feature is beneficial on many levels.
- Credit card information is not stored directly on your computer, but rather on Sage's secure servers. This is accomplished through the Sage Exchange Desktop program and it adheres to the PCI-DSS compliance requirements.
- The software can store multiple card information for the same customer - there is no limit!
- You can provide descriptions for each card for easier recognition.

All classes are certified classes by Sage Software. Each class has a manual and uses both teacher lead instructions and hands on. Our classroom settings allows for a Maximum of 5 students being certified. This allows for a more hands on instruction between the student and the teacher. At the end of each class a test is given and the results are available for employers to see if the student has learned what is expected.
Classes larger than 5 are available by request for those customers needing to teach a large group. Call for special pricing for groups larger than 5.

MBA Business Software provides Custom Programming for Sage 100 ERP (MAS 90 and MAS 200) software products as a Developer. MBA Business Software is authorized by Sage Software to modify and develop enhancements to the Sage 100 ERP software. Developers must meet the same stringent requirements as staff programmers at Sage Software and must perform to the same standards. Developer programming must appear and function as if it were an integral part of the original software. Less than a hundred of the over 4,000 Sage consultants and resellers qualify as a Developer. Phil Martin, MBA’s founder and Director of Software Development, earned his BA degree from North Carolina State University with a major in Economics and later received his MBA from Georgia State University with a double major in Marketing and Finance. He started his professional career in the late 1960’s as a Programmer/Analyst on IBM mainframes writing in Cobol and Assembler Language. It was a time of growth for the computer industry and Phil was there to grow with it.
During the ‘70s, Phil was employed as a Systems Consultant. He was the On-Line Systems Project Manager for the Bank of Montreal’s implementation of a nation-wide MasterCard authorization and settlement system. He was later given assignments to facilities manage the Peachtree Data Center in Atlanta and as Director of Consulting Services for a local software consulting firm.
Phil founded Martin Business Associates as a proprietorship in 1981 to extend consulting services and custom software development to the emerging mini-computer market. As mini-computers gave way to networked micro-computers, he incorporated the business as MBA Business Software and in 1988, became one of the earliest resellers and the first Master Developer in Atlanta for State of the Art’s MAS 90 product, now Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200.
